I am writing this letter in recommendation of Mike Hopkins. In all my associations with Mike, he has shown himself to be a man of high character and of great enthusiasm. He has a disarming personality which makes him a man of great persuasion.
Mike is a hard worker, a self-starter, and is very goal oriented. In my work as the Senior Director of Research and Development, it is people like Mike who quickly rise to the top. He is someone you can give an assignment to and trust that it will get done. He will involve you in key decisions, but not burden you for too much direction.
Mike is able to work toward larger goals, taking small steps in support of his ultimate aim. He works well with others and has demonstrated to me the ability to work as part of a team.
Mike is early in his collegiate career and may not yet have developed the skills or have the background for every job. But I am fully confident that when given the appropriate training, Mike will excel at whatever job he is asked to do.
